1. Local Processing

CSV Compare is built as a client-side application. All CSV files you select are processed entirely within your web browser. Your files never leave your device, and we never upload, store, or transmit your data to our servers or any third-party servers.

2. Licensing and Payments

When you purchase a CSV Compare Premium license, payment processing is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We store the email address associated with your purchase, the Paddle transaction ID, and license information required to activate, restore, and manage your license. We do not collect or have access to your payment details (such as credit card numbers).

3. Analytics and Tracking

We do not use invasive tracking cookies or advertising/retargeting pixels. We collect only anonymous, aggregated telemetry (such as page views or feature usage counts) to understand how the software is used and to improve the product. None of this data can be linked to your identity, and we never collect, upload, or analyze the contents of your CSV files.

4. License Data

To activate and restore your Premium license, we store:

• Your purchase email address
• Paddle transaction ID (starts with txn_)
• License key
• Device activation information

This information is used solely to manage your software license.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws applicable to the operator of CSV Compare.
